Power in the Christian life and work

Luke 1:1-2Luke 1:1-2
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

The Gospel According to St. Luke 1 1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, 2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;

says “Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.  And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.”

As we prepare the “Power House” for ministry, we see so many things through which God will bless this work.

We see the wood shop providing ultimately around 50 jobs for the local economy putting around $1.3 million in the people’s hands as income on a monthly basis.  Then they are able to produce the product of around 1,000 pieces each week.

With an average of $20 per item, that’s $20 thousand dollars of income weekly, of course minus the expenses.  God is providing for His work.

Ministry to those addicted, just coming out of prison, and teens is very important and needed in our nation.  Jails and prisons do not provide rehabilitation, it provides education.  Education how to get around the laws of our land.

We must teach not ‘getting around the law’ but being set free from the law through Christ Jesus.  We have the power to defeat negative feelings, tensions, and temptations.  Temptations/trouble is only a challenge and opportunity to show the devil he’s not in control!

We will have classes on money management, family relationships, mix-marriages, and of course “Possess the Land!” of your life.  This facility which we’re looking at, will provide 350 seats for our conferences, church services, revivals, and other meetings.  We’ll also have meal facilities, small class rooms, and other facilities.

We will eventually have to lease property to have the wood shop.  Approximately 2,000 square feet.

Psalms 91 Ministries of Texas has always been a full, busy schedule of activities.  We will remain in prison ministry, youth ministry, and visiting the home bound, nursing homes/hospitals.  The core of the ministry will not change unless God changes it.

Beth is excited about teaching on the Mixed-marriage difficulties, and how to be a Godly wife and mother.  She is a wonderful teacher.  She will also work to include the staff, workers and others in our music ministry for main worship, classes, and youth ministry.

Eventually I see us having a ‘store front’ for our small wooden products to sell.  We will have finished and unfinished products of cedar, pine and local (Texas) grown woods.  I know it will provide income opportunities.  Much of the wood is being donated or about $20 a pick-up load! PRAISE THE LORD!

God is leading, moving, and we are exciting about the work He has called us to do, the Holy Spirit is leading, and lives WILL BE CHANGED AND CHALLENGED for Holy Living through the Holy Spirit.

Where?  Not Yet!  Soon we’ll have a Dedication Service/Conference probably in the summer months.  We expect around 300 to show up for the services and teachings for 3 days, 2 to 3 sessions each day.
