Book of Joel promises restoration

Today I got so down when I heard the prison I go to on Monday and Friday evenings is shut down.  There will be no volunteers permitted in to preach the Gospel until further notice.

The Lord showed me a scripture he showed me on February 19, 1994.  In this verse was a

promise what I would be doing for Him.  Unfortunately, I messed up, turned my back on Him but He’s still faithful because the calling of the Lord never ends!  Praise the Lord!

Isaiah 61:4Isaiah 61:4
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

says “And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.  (vs5) And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowman and your vine dressers.”

You see, God called me not to a land of strange speech because He knows I can’t speak another language. He has called me to reach this nation, the United States of America citizens!

This verse says we shall build up the old wastes.  Those places which have been wasted, desolate, and totally destroyed spiritually for along time.

We will work for the Lord to raise up the Glory of God in the area He leads us to rebuild the desolations of years past.  Many generations of wasted land both spiritually and physically, will be rebuilt.  God is alive and ready for Beth and I to move forward in His presence and glory.

In the Book of Joel, chapter 2:25 says He will restore all the years the devil has taken from me.  Through my sin, the things in life which has put holes in my life, decayed my spiritual life and the work God has called me to do, He will restore.  Regardless what I or anyone else has done.

I love Joel 2:1Joel 2:1
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

2 1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; trumpet: or, cornet

which tells us “Blow YOU the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my

holy mountain:”   Each of us have the responsibility to get on that trumpet and start blowing.  We must tell our cities, counties/parishes, and states that the Day of the Lord is near.  We must sound an alarm to warn those who are living lost, desperate, and lonely lives.  Christ can and will bring them peace and salvation!

What about you?  Beth and I know what we’re to do.  We just don’t know for sure “WHERE” we will do this work!  We know God has called us to evangelism.  Evangelism is not an occupation, it is a lifestyle.

A lifestyle each believer in Christ Jesus should adapt.  We have lost and Luke-warm people around us who need to be told what God is speaking today.  Prophets may be gone, but the office of prophet is still with us.

That’s not those who tell the future, that those whom God uses to confirm what God has already revealed to us.  God wants us to work for Him.

Today, I am so pumped and excited about what God is going to do through us.  I got a call a few minutes ago from a lady who I have had on my Face book page.  She told me things who told me things which the Holy Spirit had revealed to me years ago through a prophet.

She doesn’t know Beth and I, has never met us, just felt led to call us.  (My number is the only one on FB)

God used her to confirm what He’s been telling me for years!  Again, I had to be told what He wanted for me.  About a week ago, I was talking with a friend who told me the same thing!  That’s double confirmation from the Lord!

God is moving Psalms 91 Ministries of Texas into a new season of ministry for Him.  We will be reaching the hurting, Luke-warm, unsaved in our area, we’re just not sure where that area is of a yet.

God is motivating me to get moving.  (Maybe not to another town, but get to work!)  It is time to start to move to the new season He has for us!

God has given us favor with teens, kids, adults, and those in authority whom we’ve met.  God has brought us to a place of no business, no money, but God knows what we need.

Brother Mike Smallwood from Amarillo, Texas was such a blessing to me in the past few months.  He said from a pulpit “God calls the person to ministry.  Money does not call you to a ministry, it only tells you HOW you will do ministry!”

How truthful that is!  God has called us and now we ask those who read our posts, follow us on Linked-in, Twitter, and Facebook and other sites.  Please help us do the work of God.

We must raise a minimum of $3,000 to renovate a property.   That’s just to do simple things which must be done to get started.  If you donate to Psalms 91 Ministries on this link, we will send you a small gift we’ve saved for times like this from our gift shop we closed.

God is mighty and His Holy Spirit is moving.  The time is near and it’s time we get to reaching the world for Him.  The devil is not happy, but he doesn’t have a say in this ministry anyway, so who really cares what Satan thinks?

God bless as you prayerfully give to further this work God has called us to do.
